Favourite thing about ConEd?: Con-Ed LOVE! Con-Ed is such a tight-knit community & the people are awesome. I love all of our fun and quirky traditions (stay tuned) that make every day interesting and exciting. Con-Ed has an unbelievable amount of energy and enthusiasm that definitely sets us apart from every other faculty!

Favourite first year class?: SOCY 122! Super interesting content, an amazing prof and a tolerable work load! 12/10 would recommend.

Favourite thing about Teach exec?: Not to be DrAmATiC but Teach Exec is truly amazing. They're all so supportive and welcoming to everyone!! If you ever need anything, want someone to make you laugh, or need some advice you can always go to anyone on teach exec and they are happy to help!!

Personal Spotlight: Heyyy class of '24 my name’s Sara. I’m from a comically small town outside of London, ON making me a certified farm kid and country music enthusiast. 

I love dancing, listening to music, hanging out with friends and hitting the gym. My hobbies include watching vine compilations, attending class, dancing in public and sleeping in the library.

I'm in I/S with teachables in Geography and History. I am beyond excited for O-Week and can't wait to show you all what Con-Ed is all about!!

Words of wisdom: Treat the first month of school like the first day of Kindergarten.  Everyone's nervous and wants to make new friends. I promise you, you can walk up to literally anyone and have a conversation. Take advantage of O-Week and talk to anyone and everyone, this is your chance to meet some amazing people and maybe even meet your best friends :)

Favourite Thing About Con-Ed: The people :) I met my best friend during o-week and I continue to meet new fun people through Con-Ed activities or just being in this faculty. It's better in B.Ed

Favourite First Year Class: PSYC 100 - Most people don't like this course but it's fun if you like learning about why humans behave the way they do.

Favourite Thing About Teach Exec: They're so full of energy and you can tell they care about everyone ❤️

Personal Spotlight: I want to teach Biology and Chemistry at the Intermediate/Senior level. I may also get an ABQ in physics so I can teach that as well! For hobbies, I like to sing, play and listen to music, paint, and hang out with friends. I'm a townie and have been for the past 10 years, so ask me questions about Kingston - it's a small city but super beautiful if you haven't noticed yet. Can't wait to see you all :)

Words of wisdom: Try out all the new opportunities and have fun! Most importantly, take the time to adjust and stay on top of your work - easier said than done - you'll thank yourself later.
